INGREDIENTS: Water, Tomato Purée (30%), Tomato (5%), Paprika, Ground Coriander (5%), Coriander (3%), Coconut (2.5%), Sugar, Onion Powder, Ginger Purée, Turmeric, Rapeseed Oil, Cumin, Acidity Regulator (Lactic Acid), Chilli Powder, Salt, Fenugreek, Cardamom, Dried Garlic, Potassium Chloride, Black Pepper, Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Colour (Paprika Extract), Flavouring, Maltodextrin.

Preparation and Usage

Chicken Tikka Curry

Cooking time: 23 minutes

Method: Hob

Ingredients: 15ml (1 tbsp.) oil; 2 medium onions (approx. 140g) - diced; 1 jar of Tesco Tikka Paste 200g; 500g chicken breast - diced; 400g chopped tomatoes; 150ml double cream.

Method:

1. Heat up the oil in a medium saucepan. Gently cook the onion until golden in colour.

2. Stir in the Tikka paste. Fry for a further 3 minutes.

3. Add the chicken and fry until sealed.

4. Add the tomatoes and simmer gently for 5 minutes.

5. Add the double cream, mix well. Simmer gently for 15 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked and sauce has thickened.

To Serve: Serve with cooked basmati rice or naan bread.
